Event Description:
Group for parents to help their child(ren) with emotional regulation by learning strategies for it and gaining insight into their and their child's emotional experience.

This group will be help via our HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.
Pricing:
$30 per parenting/caregiver set (2 people) for the entire 6 week series, due upon registration
Facilitator Information:
This group will be led by Lucy Katter and Marshall Campbell, student therapists at Fortis.
Week 4:
Session Focus:
Education on emotions, give out emotion wheel, explain “name it to tame it” and primary vs secondary emotions
Session Purpose:
This session introduces strategies for expressing feelings with words rather than actions.
Both parents and children will gain practical tools to name emotions, reduce conflict, and create more understanding and meaningful conversations at home.
