“I truly believe that each person deserves a safe space, to feel connected within themselves and foster connections with others. Therapy allows exploration and nurturing of your true self. I believe that in life it is incredibly important to show ourselves compassion and to learn how to be kind to ourselves. It is impossible to hate yourself into becoming better, and building self-compassion is vital for healthy growth and change.”

Why I Became a Therapist
Since high school, I knew that I wanted to be a therapist.
As a teenager, I wished someone could've helped support me in a way that helped regulate my emotions, and understand them in a way that didn't demonize or vilify them, just because they weren't always pleasant to experience.
I have always been someone who valued connection, empathy, and compassion, and I am so thankful that I was able to turn my passions into a career.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to do what I love each day.
Expertise:
Anxiety Treatment
I personally understand how overwhelming it can feel to live with anxiety, as I’ve experienced it myself. My background as a yoga instructor has deepened my appreciation for mindfulness, which has been a powerful tool in my own healing journey. Because anxiety is such a common and shared struggle, I’m passionate about supporting others and helping as many people as possible find relief and resilience.
Couples Therapy
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my graduate training placed a strong emphasis on couples work, which sparked my passion for helping partners strengthen their connections. After completing Level 2 Gottman Certification, I was inspired to integrate those evidence-based interventions while also bringing my own unique perspective and approach. Since most people face challenges in their romantic relationships, I believe deeply in the importance of building and maintaining healthy partnerships with the people we share our lives with.
Depression/Self Compassion
I’ve faced my own challenges with self-confidence and self-acceptance, and becoming Certified Shame-Informed Treatment Specialist (CSTS) certified opened my eyes to meaningful ways of addressing shame and cultivating self-compassion. I also have a deep passion for working with teenagers, where themes of self-worth and compassion often show up in powerful ways. At the heart of this work, I love fostering empathy—both within individuals and in their relationships—and it’s a true joy to be able to share and nurture that with others.
Family Therapy
I’ve experienced challenging relationships within my own family, so I deeply understand the importance of having support during difficult times. Working with family systems is especially meaningful to me, as involving the whole system often leads to the most impactful outcomes. Family therapy creates powerful opportunities for connection by providing a safe space to “talk about the unspoken” and truly step into one another’s shoes. When family members are willing to bring vulnerability into the room, the process can be incredibly fulfilling and transformative.
Therapy with Teens
Teens are such a joy to work with! I’m passionate about supporting those within systems who often have less power, helping them feel seen, heard, and empowered—especially during the teenage years, when that validation matters so much. Watching young people grow, build confidence, and thrive is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. It’s an honor to cheer on the next generation of leaders and world-changers as they step into their own strength and potential.
