Event Description:
Group for parents to help their child(ren) with emotional regulation by learning strategies for it and gaining insight into their and their child's emotional experience.

Parents who want to help their child(ren) with emotional regulation

Week 1: Thursday, October 16th, 2025
Week 2: Thursday, October 23rd, 2025
Week 3: Thursday, October 30th, 2025
Week 4: Thursday, November 6th, 2025
Week 5: Thursday, November 13th, 2025
Week 6: Thursday, November 20th, 2025

Location:

This group will be help via our HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.

Pricing:

$30 per parenting/caregiver set (2 people) for the entire 6 week series, due upon registration

Facilitator Information:

This group will be led by Lucy Katter and Marshall Campbell, student therapists at Fortis.

 

Week 1:

Session Focus:

Introductions, explanation of group expectations, emotional regulation, what parents can do for themselves

Session Purpose:

In this first session, we’ll lay the foundation for emotional regulation—one of the most powerful skills parents can nurture in themselves and their children.

You’ll learn what emotional regulation really means, why it matters for family connection, and practical tools you can begin using right away to create calmer, more supportive interactions at home.

Session Objectives:

By the end of this session, participants will:
